It can be fitted both on production or custom sailing boats
These mechanisms can be fitted with the Solimar aluminium, fibreglass, carbon pedestal bulkhead box or on an existing pedestal
The stainless steel wheel shaft of the system slides on stainless steel roller bearings (designed by Solimar) with the bronze sprocket
The transmission can be with chain, stainless steel or textile rope or only with textile wire (606 system)
