Gangways, Lights, Wempe and *something new* at the Southampton Boat Show 2017

The Southampton Boat Show is one of our favourite events in the marine calendar and 2017’s show looks to be no exception. It’ll be a fun day out for everyone – with a whole host of boats and marine equipment to wow about.

If you’re still undecided about getting your tickets, maybe our exclusive discount will tip you over the edge (not literally, of course!). Use code EPTOC5YCCL for 40% off – £12 instead of £20!

What’s in store on J312 Ocean Hall?

For the first time, Exit Carbon will be making a splash on our stand! We will be featuring their high-tech carbon sun awning poles which are designed for use on motor and sailing yachts. The poles are extremely light-weight, easy to set and stow away. They can be used for shade even while the boat is under way (not only at anchor!). Exit Engineering focus on high quality innovative products which include: davits, boarding steps and sea stairs in addition to their innovative gangways and wheels. We’re incredibly happy to be have them onboard!

Wempe are high quality, precision instruments

You’ll get to browse a fantastic selection of Wempe instruments including the Commander and the Navigator. We’ll also be showcasing a choice of the more traditional designs in brass and chome, as well as a selection of the modern, nickel-plated finish from the Nautik, Navigator and Cup range.

Boat Lights, Gangways and Wheels

Prebit have recently introduced the Lana, a larger version of the F5 reading light – with a lot more functionality – and a choice of red, blue or amber night lights.  Their range also offers a better choice of 230V lights for larger yachts or even for home.

Added to the range of GS Composites carbon gangways which go up to 320cm are the Exit Engineering carbon gangways, whose range extends up to 6m – they also offer boarding ladders and are now developing a range of sea stairs which are due for release later this year.

The new composite wheels developed by GS are almost the same weight as the carbon version, and are good value for money.
